Jennifer Rees is a Children’s Book Editor of award-winning and New York Times bestselling Picture Books, Middle Grade, and Teen Fiction and Nonfiction, including Suzanne Collins’ unparalleled THE HUNGER GAMES series. With nearly 15 years’ experience in the New York City book publishing industry, she made her home at Scholastic Press, a division of Scholastic, Inc., as a Senior Editor. During Jennifer’s time at Scholastic, one of the most innovative and trusted companies in the business, she published groundbreaking novels for all ages, created highly commercial and best-selling series, and developed exceptional talent, from debut authors to seasoned veterans. Recently, she made the decision to move into the freelance side of the business and moved with her family to Pittsburgh, PA, her hometown. There, she is still super connected to NYC publishing and continues to do the work that she loves, which is create amazing books with amazing people. Jennifer collaborates extensively with a diverse group of authors and illustrators from all over the world to create powerful and memorable stories that resonate with their audiences. The companies she works for today include Reedsy, Scholastic, National Geographic (she is the editor for their highly successful Explorer Academy series), and several top-notch literary agencies (she edits their authors’ manuscripts to prepare them for the submissions process). Jennifer enjoys working with professional authors as well as writers who are brand new to the literary landscape.

Dunja Pantic

Multidisciplinary Artist

Dunja is a multidisciplinary artist. She was born in Yugoslavia, raised in Zimbabwe and educated in Italy, France and New York. During her studies, Dunja freelanced as a graphic designer and illustrator of children’s books, a career she continues to enjoy today. Her work has been published in the US, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
